Explain Sound Terms [Explained,Thanks forum]

I really dont know the diffrence between headphones in frequencies,for example:

Trebble

Bass

and all that

can someone explain it to me in simple human form without being all like: THIS SOUND SIGNATURE IS MORE ON THE 41=389129-38 NUMBER WHICH IS MORE BASSY.

Oftentimes manufacturers will say 'bass enhanced' or something like that. I usually stay away from that shit. Humans think they are naturally attracted to bass, which we are, but these headphones just amp up the 100 or so frequencies, not the 'true' sub bass, if you know what I mean. 

 

You already know treble and bass, but mids (if in case you didnt know) is mostly everything in between. 

Sub bass is anything under 60Hz, which is played by the sub. Hence sub bass. Tweeters produce treble (super high stuff), Woofers produce midrange, and subs produce sub bass.

Yeah, okay, what did you want explained specifically? Just the meaning of the words?

Treble and bass come from musical clefs which indicate the pitch of the music. A treble clef that thing that looks like an ampersand at the start of sheet music.  
 

Tweeters- high pitch/treble

Mids- exactly what it sounds like. They're in the middle of the spectrum.

Subwoofers-low pitch/bass (Gaming headsets get a lot of hate for having too much of this)
