6600k vs 6700k

I'm going to go Skylake, because, I found some sexy ass motherboards.

Just wondering, should I wait for the 6700k to stock up or just go with the 6600k?

If you can wait for the 6700k that'd make more sense imo, and you do a bit of video editing too, right?

Depends what the system is for. 

If it's going to be used just for gaming, then go for the 6600K. If it's going to be doing rendering, video editing, 3D Modelling and other similar workloads, then go for the 6700K.

Yeah, gaming mainly. I figured the 6600K would do good with a decent OC on it as well.

hhh, then get 6600 and spend rest money on something you need like... PSU, Case, SSD

if the system is intended for gaming, the i7 sill be pointless, but if it's got the work station element into it as well, the 6700k is the way to go
