Wifi shutting off problem

Hey, I've had a D-link N router for the last year or so. Since I bought it, the wifi field shuts off automatically. The router is still on but the field just stops generating. This happens every 3-5 hours. I'm wondering if I got a router with a faulty part or something.

You could install new firmware for your router or if you did couple changes to the router settings, try to reset it. Or shut down the router and restart it. Should work. If this issue still occurs than you could return the router, I think. If you still have the warranty. I'm trying my best to help you with this strange problem btw.
