Imo online tests are not good, they can be incredibly flawed, if someone had a perfect 0 MS Response time or any input lag WHATSOEVER They would get a nice 50 MS Most likely. I have faster reactions than almost everyone I know in real life, yet score about 100MS Less in any test.

That website is laggy as balls for me. Reaction times all over the board. No idea why. "Fast" reactions around 0.3 seconds, slower ones 0.15ms, sh*t like that.

I use http://getyourwebsitehere.com/jswb/rttest01.html and it seems more consistent.

Depending on the day and what I've done, my reaction time is around ~0.19-0.22

The lowest I've ever gotten is 0.087 (not average). I'm convinced it was pure luck though.

I've been working on lowering it for when I tryhard in CSGO, I've lowered it ~0.03 seconds in the past few weeks. Not bad since this is the sort of stuff my genetics doesn't work well with.

Average reaction time for the general population is 0.2-0.3.

"Normandy" i7 4790K - GTX 970 - Phantom 410 (Gun metal) - Z97 Extreme4 (asrock) - 128GB Crucial SSD - 1TB WD HDD - H60 Refurb. - 7 case fans | G710+ Keyboard, G230 Headset, Acer GN246HL Monitor.

Quick thoughts on system: I7 is extremely quick and I'm glad I spent the extra for hyper-threading. I regret my decision to get the GTX 970, it has horrible coil whine. There isn't any excuse for this terrible whine I and others are having. I HIGHLY recommend a 144hz monitor. Future Improvements/upgrades: Rubber fan mounts, basic speakers, more ram (for a total of 16gb), replace GPU.

144hz is love. 144hz is life. I like to submit unfinished posts then do about 20 edits. I like the Night Theme too.

I don't know you, but that seems far more likely than a reaction time of 0.15 (which is rather notably above average for purely visual reactions).

If you disagree you disagree but for me CSGO was never really about reactions. It was more about game awareness unlike the other games e.g Black Ops.

I fully agree with that, but when I say tryhard I mean I'm trying to get to global. I'm working on *everything*. Reaction time being one of them.

The thing about reaction time is I can work on it even when I'm not in-game. Unlike gamesense.

What rank did you eventually get up to?

Still working on it. I was MGE (before rank crisis). I haven't played comp since a really unpleasant match post-rank crisis which knocked me down to MG1. Since then I've been messing around with my settings, practicing, tryharding in practice 5v5 comp servers, etc..

I'm significantly better than I was a month ago that's for sure. I need to play a few comp matches too see where I am now, but my roommate won't stop watching on netflix. Comcast f*cks us in the ass whenever someone starts streaming...

I don't know if you're extremely lucky or incresed in performance dramaticly because I used to be MGE and didn't play for a week I top fragged my game 42-5 and we won the game 16-2 and finally got placed back at nova 1. You can obviously can tell I didn't want to play after that very much.

I top fragged and got all the MVPs. My team that match had two derankers, someone who went AFK all the time, and an absolutely toxic teammate. The enemy was MGE and DMGs. I held my own with a 1:1 K/D so I didn't get deranked that badly when we lost like 5/15. Judging by how your fight went, I got extremely lucky with my derank.

The next match was the same thing, just they kicked me on the last round because I got 4 headshots in a row with a scout. I was f*cking livid.

So I know that feeling, I'm hoping that the higher levels + the rank shuffle calming down will have helped deal with some of the bullsh*t.

4 headshots with a scout blimey that's good. They kicked you, were they lobbied? I think that valve should do something about that. The lobby should count as 1 player or something because I hate it when you try kick trollers and you can't because they lobbied and keep each other in the game. - Rant Over.

Votekick is easily one of the most abused things in CSGO. Hackers always team up with someone, so there goes that use of vote kick...

I imagine they were lobbied considering they all played like sh*t, together.

I love the scout. It reminds me of the Sniper from TF2. I've always been good with 'sniper' weapons in games. I decided to practice like a dedicated AWPer since that's the only thing I feel 'naturally' good at. The result is I'm disproportionately good at the scout and awp. I've been called a hacker several times when I use the scout. Always makes me feel good inside :P

No, but I've had matches like this. I really hate overwatch. People like me with skill levels all over the place (absolutely terrible gamesense + can get EZPZ HS with scout for ex.) tend to get burned.
