About a month ago I purchased a Hyperx Cloud II from Newegg and I really liked the headset's aesthetics and comfort but I noticed the static which was greatly helped with the 005 firmware update but I can still faintly hear it above 72 volume. My main issue with the headset is without the USB sound card plugged in, when I toggle the volume down to 0 it makes a popping sound which I asked HyperX if that was normal but they said it wasn't. I returned the headset to Newegg and got a replacement and it had the same exact issues. Slight static above 72 volume with the sound card and without the sound card plugged in it makes a popping noise upon when reaching 0 volume. Does anyone else have these issues or should I attempt an RMA with Kingston themselves?

I have heard about this issue with the Cloud II's. Could be for all headsets, not just a manufacture error in yours.

Yeah, I heard the static noise at high volumes is very common and it really doesn't bother me that much since realistically I'd never go near that volume range but the popping noise when reaching 0 volume I haven't seen mentioned before and it's odd that it does that.
