Hi everyone, I just wanted to know if Memtest86 actually tests ALL of your memory? Since it's an x86 program/thing, I wasn't sure if it tested all of my 8gb of RAM or maybe only 4gb of it...etc. can someone please enlighten me?

Also, I have this weird problem with Memtest86 where if I boot into the disk using UEFI, half the screen gets cut off and I can't really see what's going on and I don't know how many errors it encountered...etc. is there a fix for that? Thanks all.

BRRRT!

memtest86 sucks and is buggy, use HCImemtest with one instance per thread. assuming your signature is still up to date you want to run 4 instances of HCImemtest with 2000mb ram each, let it run for 200%

its also free you can get it here

but if you happen to have a linux distro on hand , theres no better memtest than gsat (google stresstest app), google uses it for their servers, nothing more needs to be said about how valid it makes that as a stresstest
