I have an i5 2500k on an MSI P67A-C43 motherboard. When I push the clock speed past 4.1 GHz the entire system locks up after leaving the BIOS. It will post but never loads the OS, it also stops responding to any kind of input. Hitting the power button, holding it or holding the reset button don't do anything. I've modified the core voltage to 1.3V to try and get it to load but it just sits there scratching its head.

Have I just reached the limit of the processor itself or is this a stability issue with the motherboard?
