Ok thx I'll definitely not do a 1000w lol I was thinking a 970 cause I really just play mmo's so the 980 would be overkill wouldn't it?

Save money on your ram and get 8gb, as it will be more than enough for gaming. You should also consider a better cpu cooler if you plan to get a high overclock with the 6600k.

A 1000watt psu is not needed. You will be better off with a 650 or 750 watt psu, as you will be wasting power from your wall with that 1000 watt. And yes, the 980 will be overkill for mmos. For the gpu, I recommend an r9 390 as its around the same price point as a 970 but generally performs better.
