Help with Corsair link

Go to solution Solved by darealsoulless,

This happens to me too.

With Win10, it for some odd reason won't recognize my H100i, but with Win8 it recognized it and I could toy with it just fine.

It may or may not be an operating system issue, but I've found that most programs that work with Windows 8 work with Windows 10 just fine, but Corsair Link and it's shittiness may not be one of those that will work on either side. We'll just have to probably wait it out, I bet eventually Corsair will release an update that fixes this issue. I feel your pain, the blue on my LED looks horrendous with my red and black system.

I was having a similar issue with Windows 10. The solution that worked for me, was completely uninstalling the software, and then reinstalling it while in safe mode. Corsair Link would recognize it after that. Hopefully this works for you, as well. :-)

I also have a red and black build, and yes it's painful. I wanted my first custom pc to be goodlookin', damn you corsair. x3

It didn't work for me, I unisntalled corsair link and rebooted the pc in safe mode. I installed the program and rebooted in normal mode to open it up, still nothing.

I had the same issue with the link when I installed my h110i. i gave up and instead used the mobo software to create my own fan curve. In addition my core x9 has the mobo on its back so i dont even see the lights from the head

I got it to work by going to Control Panel --> System and security --> Security and Maintenace --> Troubleshooting --> Programs --> Pick Corsair Link --> Troubleshoot program click next and pick win 8 --> restart pc

Or something like that

i might give that a run sometime. it would be nice to have the native software working, even though right now the only benefit would be light control

Well yeah, that's the only reason I use corsair link, only to make the water block red to match my theme. I control fans with gigabytes AppCenter
