GPU showing up as Printer/Device!?

Go to solution Solved by PlayStation 2,

Recent drivers allowed hotpluggable PCI-Express.

So I noticed a little USB appear near my WiFi symbol the other day so I right clicked on it and it gave me the option to eject it!

So I'm wondering does anyone know what is going on here and how do I remove the dam thing?

You could probably check your BIOS settings and check for a setting to disable Hotpluggable PCI-Express.

Far out, at least give the user the option to remove the icon...

The 'Eject GPU' item can be completely removed by going to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\nvlddmkm key in the Windows Registry and setting SurpriseRemovalSupport to 0, then rebooting.

If anyone asks you never saw me.
