So me and a few people are starting up a indigogo in order to make the sequel to Tree simulator 2014 , it's meant to be a different type of simulation game that is meant to make you laugh.

http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/tree-simulator-2014/x/4675021

Go check it out if you want but what would you like to see in the game ? There is a 2013 version on gamejolt which was a joke around but this one will be a more serious proper game for android and IOS and probably PC.

Btw I'm not the one in the video

Just saying, I would never buy your game not knowing what the gameplay is like, what you do etc. Are you just a tree sitting there doing nothing?

Multiplayer on a tree simulator? Are you gonna developp the 'tree company' aspect (finding and buying good lots, making roads to get there, using machinery to get the trees out and trucks to carry them, that sort of thing) or only the 'guy cutting tree with chainsaw and/or axe' part?

Because that's (imo) the difference between a game that has real potential and that I would enjoy playing, and a game that is just another ridiculous simulator with no real purpose and the same crappy engine as most of that type of games. =P

Wait, you want to raise 3500 pounds for it, yet you have no clue of what it will be like?

Sorry to say, but this looks to me like one of these crazy projects people jump on sometime, without realizing how complex it really is. Making a videogame requires waaaaay more complex than people think. More than half the time allocated to a project is dedicated to planning only, coding the game is not even the longest part. Of course, in that case you don't need to 'analyze' the market that much, but still.

There's a lot of planning required, and the fact that you are raising money (what for?) before you even have a clue of what the game will be like makes me think that this project is doomed and won't last very long.

I don't know why my friend put it that high , but we do know what we will be doing but the whole point is asking people they would like to see

I understand the 'asking people what they would like to see' part, but it seems to me that you haven't figured out much yet.

If you can't even tell me what direction you're taking, a more 'FPS' game where you control a man that has his chainsaw and axe whose job is to cut trees marked with the orange X, or a complete 'managing' where you have to do a lot of task, and that includes machinery and other vehicles ..

The point of starting a campaign like this is to aid in a project you have already embarked on. When I clicked the link, I saw a stock photo and some kid talking, I closed the tab. Starting a project without any actual progress into the game and without anything to solidify that it's an actual game project. It doesn't take money to create the game to show that you're serious about it.
