So I've been getting a little yellow triangle over my wifi and it doesn't fully connect. It will work most of the time but it will randomly turn off and won't connect unless I reboot the wifi. My parents claim to have no issues at all, but both my Pc and phone won't connect. I've been having issues since my father installed a time counter, but I got around with changing my Mac through the advanced properties of the wifi chip

thanks

The triangle icon can normally indicate a few issues, such as lack of DNS servers, or not being able to obtain an IP address from the DHCP server.

DId you father also setup a whitelist of acceptable MAC addresses? That wouldn't explain the intermittent connection though.

not as far as I know, because I can do whatever I want with the changed mac, but I told him about the issues and he claims to not have changed any other settings

Ask your dad if he can temporarily turn off or disable whatever changes he made to see if the problem goes away. I'm sure your dad wouldn't mind agreeing to this if it helps diagnose the

problem.

hmmm...I guess I could try to ask him... but I'm sortof at the point of wanting to throw that router around his head, because there have always been issues, but we have a good name brand router...I offered at one point to take care of the setting and keeping it running smooth, but he wouldn't let me.
