Hallo everyone

I'm trying to set up a PC for about $2000/2200.

I was searching a little and I did something what you can see below.

Now, I just wondering about CPU cooler. I was thinking about Corsair Hydro Series H110i GTX (CW-9060020-WW) but cost of full PC is  higher then my wallet can handle it.

And then i was thinking about air CPU cooler and find out this one (look below). You think, that can hadle a OC CPU abaout to 4,6? Apparently someone hit a 5 with this CPU cooler. :o

2. Games mostly and recording(+edit and rendering so...). Also playing with graphics (Adobe PS/AI/AF)

3. Monitor - 1 for now. I'm thinking about  2  in the future.

4. Peripherals - nope

5. And why? My 5 years old laptop is dying and need very good PC for projects to studies ^_^

I'd look to grabbing a hexacore 5820K instead for your rendering work. It's a great overclocker and it'll provide very similar performance to the flagship quad core 6700K in gaming.

I'm kinda hesitant on that PSU, so I've gone for a EVGA 850W instead. I'm assuming you're planning to SLI?

Anyway, here's what it'll look like:

Ohh and if you have critical data (college work or just stuff you REALLY don't want to lose,) Make sure you have an external drive for back-ups.

Was thinking about RAID after buying full PC.

Noctua NH-U12S  is a better and less expensive cpu cooler.

EVGA 220-G2-0750-XR is a less expensive and better psu. Although the BeQuiet! is a bit quieter.

Why Windows 7? Why the Pro version?

You think Noctua can handle OC i7-6700k or even i7-5820k?

I was testing win 10 and looks cool but it's bugged as hell. And i'm using 7  sience realese.

"Lower" versions has limited RAM. Starting from PRO you've got 192GB :D

The Nano also is less expensive, and gives fairly comparable performance at 4k, unless you were planning to SLI or Overclock the 980ti a fair amount, it's not going to be worth the extra cost.

in addition, you save money on a free-sync display vs a G-sync display, it's $453 Vs $840 for the Nvidia G-sync  equivalent display, nearly $400 saved going with free-sync

4K IPS G-sync $840

Your FPS while recording isn't going to really be affected with a 5820K

Far as gaming goes, you'd be at 4k medium settings no AA, or just 1080p maxxed out settings with the nano, pretty much the same as the 980ti, although once OC'd the 980ti would naturally produce reasonably higher frame rates

the R9 Nano is about on par with the R9 Fury here, difference from a stock 980ti is generally 5 or so fps, ranging from 10fps in battlefield, to no difference in Far Cry 4, in addition you can make a quick adjustment to the nano to increase it's power limit for a bit more performance

A small oc certainly. Certainly it will do a better cooling job than the Geil in the OP.

If you already have the Windows 7 Pro license that's fine. If not, Windows 8 standard allows up to 128GB of memory. The later the o/s you go with the longer its supported life.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
