Looking at my building my first loop, but looking for fan suggestions for radiators. I will have an alphacool nexxxos 120x30mm rad, and a separate nexxxos 92x45mm rad.

So far, i am thinking of noctua nf-f12 for the 120, and am between noctua nf-a9 pwm and arctic f9 pwm for the 92.

Basically, need help deciding mostly on the 92 mm fan, although suggestions for 120 are appreciated as well.

Color is somewhat important. Would looking into painting the nf-a9 if i went that route as it will be seen in the case. nf-f12 (or whatever i use for the 120 rad) will be hidden, so not as big of deal.

I'm looking for high static pressure, high airflow, but quiet (25db or so).

Hopefully someone has experience with a 92mm rad here...

also, for any difference it might make, 120 will be pushing through rad, 92 will be pulling (as the plan so far)

I'd highly recommend against a 92 mm rad. Fans just don't push enough air without being stupid loud for it to make sense (personally I also feel that way for 120s instead of 140s, but it's a huge difference).

i would use the same size fan for rads for both push and pull. for the hidden fans, you cant beat noctua for stealthy airflow. if you need something more flashy thermaltake has new static pressure riing fans to add some flair. those will be the ones i go to when im ready to build my loop. other ~25 db fans (based on my experience) would include thermaltake riing fans, and enermax fans

currently my rig has 2 140mm red riing fans on the front, 1 noctua 140mm fan in the psu (that was an enlightening mod), 2 120mm riing along with the stock fns for my h110i cooler, and 2 enermax 120mm red led fans on the bottom pushing air into the rig. total db rating when gaming is 25-30. at idle its at 25 max
