New build good idea?

Go to solution Solved by Streetguru,

And 1080 on high I can play 60 fps?

Average fps overall, will be somewhere around 40-50, but the point is the GPU is way better than the one you have, unless you need the CPU for other tasks, I'm going to go with it being better to have a strong GPU and weak CPU, than a strong CPU and weak GPU for gaming.

I have pc amd 750k 8gb ddr3ram 1 tb storage 200w psu

And I want new build

I 5 4690k and motherboard (for oc)

And I need new psu I want to re use my rqm and hardrive and grafic card ( I have 720p monitor and amd 7770 HD 1gb ddr5)

So I want to buy monitor and grafic card later is this duable under 500$

Well is your CPU really holding you back? What games are you trying to run?

the unlocked i5s aren't worth it generally speaking, but you could do it yes with an i5 4460, you aren't going to notice a performance difference unless you have a 144hz display

Wait a minute what the hell do you mean you have a 200W PSU? Did you buy some kind of pre-built? what's your full current PC? should download speccy

That my curent sistem and I serching for good cpu and mothermoard psu & grafic card

I want to re use 1 tb hard drive and ram

Well you can't fit all of that in your budget, as far as gaming goes, the CPU you have isn't bad, just upgrade your PSU to a 500W something, get a 380 GPU, and a 1080p IPS display

if they actually put a 200W PSU they went almost completely barebones

Your CPU vs an i5 in games, ties in a fair number of places

A8 7650K(860K substitute) vs i5 with a 290x, it actually ties it in a few of places

http://www.technologyx.com/featured/amd-a8-7650k-apu-review-the-little-apu-that-could/5/

750K vs i5, fps would be a bit higher

You shouldn't be limiting yourself to a 720p display, and again, unless you're hitting some kind of crazy CPU bottleneck and your main focus is gaming you're going to be better off with a new display and GPU over upgrading your CPU, but I posted your CPU/motherboard combo above if you really want a new CPU for whatever reason.

I posted benchmarks above where your CPU would tie with an i5 in a number of cases, your GPU is always going to be more important for gaming

as far as the PSU goes

You might get some frame drops in places, but I just got through playing GTAV at 1440p with my 750K + 7850. Fallout 4 should be the same thing, an i5 would technically be faster, but probably not with the GPU you have.

Fallout 4 CPU benchmark, the 860K is the same as your CPU basically, and it's in the 50s with a 980ti, more than playable

http://www.techspot.com/review/1089-fallout-4-benchmarks/page5.html

Far as the third one goes I don't think I've met anyone that actually wanted to play sindicate, but it doesn't appear to be a very CPU heavy game, just a very poorly PC optimized game, at least with AA turned on

1080p ultra, you can also upscale the game to 1440p with VSR and get it a bit sharper

now you aren't going to be exactly there with your CPU vs the i7, but it's still going to easily be above 40fps, and then at some point in the future you can grab i5 or whatever and be set there.

Average fps overall, will be somewhere around 40-50, but the point is the GPU is way better than the one you have, unless you need the CPU for other tasks, I'm going to go with it being better to have a strong GPU and weak CPU, than a strong CPU and weak GPU for gaming.
