Well I'm from Czech republic and the content on Netflix is very limited, but I'm in Barcelona, (Spain) right now and Netlix is tellig me that I'm using proxy to get to the content in Spain, I can't eve watch the content that is avaible in Czech rep. I just can't watch Netflix when I'm not home.

Good job Netflix. Europe is so small region that we travel a lot between countries.

I get that I can't watch the content avaible in Spain and not in Czech, but this is ridiculous.

Anyone wirh similiar problem?

They starting locking down on people who use VPN to get access to stuff that is available in other countries. I used to do it to get Canadian Netflix instead of American

Maybe use a VPN that sets you back in Czech?

Run a VPN server from your home network. Most routers will run a basic PPTP server out of the box these days (if yours does not, DD-WRT supports this) or grab a small ARM device like a Raspberry Pi for minimal power consumption.

PPTP doesn't offer much in the way of security but the goal here isn't encryption, it's making Netflix think you're at home and with the lower overhead for PPTP the streaming quality will also be better.

In addition to my many VPN servers around the world, I run 2 PPTP servers from residential ISPs just in case I need to access content that blocks proxies/VPNs.

That would be ironic, vut I don't care that much. It's just that I can't use the service I payed for.

Licensing. Netflix doesn't really have much of a say in it unless your monthly fee to them covers the potential fines they'd be facing (or whatever penalties are in their contracts with rights holders).

I live in the US, but always use a VPN for the benefits it provides. I have it set up through my router. I use US VPN servers and Netflix blocks this as well. Freakin ridiculous. Im cancelling. If I want to use a VPN, it should be of no concern to Netflix. I shouldnt have to change configurations every time I want to watch Netflix.

Not to mention, I have had Netflix for over 5 years. Now all of a sudden, I am apparently trying to get services I am not entitled to. Gtfo

Netflix doesn't care about VPNs, they care about being able to offer content and if the content owners don't license to Netflix it hurts everybody. Don't be angry at Netflix for trying to keep their contracts.
