Strange Crashing

So, I'm trying to figure this out and troubleshooting hardware is a weak area of mine.  It's my wife's gaming rig (very light gamer) and our home media server.  When it crashes, the computer stays on and we can keep streaming media from it.  We can access it, store files to it, play files from it, etc.  What we can't do is sit down and use it or even remote into it (RDP or Teamviewer).  It crashes to black, and still appears on the router as an active computer.  It was crashing as often as a few times per day but sometimes it'd go a few days between crashes.

 

I thought it was the PSU, so I pulled out the multimeter and got readings off of the 3.3V, 5V, +12V, and -12V rails reading: 3.34V, 5.12V, 12.11V, -12.62V.  They're all within spec, but this was an "unplugged" PSU with the green wire shorted and I don't know how it reacts to load.  I initially suspected PSU when HWMonitor was reading out 9.936V on the 12V rail.  When that didn't turn up any good results, I pulled one of the ram sticks out and placed the remaining one in a previously unused slot.  I didn't have time to set up MemTest but I'll be doing that tonight (give me something exciting to do while I start filing taxes).

 

System: FX4100, 2x4GB Kingston HyperX, XFX R7 260, Corsair CS450M PSU.  Stock AMD cooler, good temperatures all around that I could find.

Is it crashing or just hibernating? Does pressing the power button bring it back or does holding turn it off?

Just keeping this here as a It seems to be crashing.  The only way I've found to wake it back up is to hard reset it.  When it "crashes" (now I'm afraid it's just hibernating!), the fans still spin which I believe isn't usual.  I'm also not sure if a hibernating computer would still have its data accessible on the network or be visible on the router.  I'll have to be less of a dumb-dumb and check that tonight as well.

 

One thing making me doubt it's hibernating is that it does it at odd intervals.
