cpu temps

i was using msi after burner to measure fps when i noticed the cpu was running at 96 degrees.... so i checked on another program and it said 66 degrees 

 

i have a i7 2600 with a stock cooler 

 

Which program showed lower temps ?

Use Real Temp as it was built with Intel CPUs in mind

Use HWmonitor, Trust HWmonitor.

According to HW Monitor I have no +12V rail and my CPU runs at 154*C

Try CoreTemp as well.

Try CoreTemp as well.

Core Temp is for AMD mainly

 

well fuck it is running at 96 degrees

Well, time to reseat the cooler
