LEDs for white setup

Hello! I'm really sorry if i'm in the wrong forum, but i need some help on finding LEDs for my upcoming setup upgrade. I'm doing all all white/ silver aluminum themed thing that's super clean and minimal. I have searched for LEDs for the back of the desk and other random places in the room such as headboard, dresser, closet etc... but i cannot seem to find the "name brand" kind that everyone uses. I just don't know what's good and what's not. So here's what I want: RGB, decent amount of lumens, different effects, and, if at all possible, the ability to control light color/ brightness from my phone or PC. Thanks in advance!  ;)  

 

For RGB LED's Amazon sells kits which you can DIY or modify to length and hookup for lighting if you don't mind doing a bit of work:
