Dual channel not registering

Go to solution Solved by QueenDemetria,

Hey,

I have this laptop HP 455 G3 as it only came with one stick of 8GB ram I just brought this ram to upgrade it.

CPUz is telling me that it is still running in single channel. As far as I can tell they should work in dual channel. Is there something I'm missing?

Thanks

Your motherboard(well, laptop) doesn't support dual channel, its listed in the specs here(sorry for the Italian link, didn't feel like changing it, but Google translate will work) : http://support.hp.com/it-it/document/c04845367
