So I am currently looking to get a new gaming keyboard.

I prefer the Cherry MX Brown switches when I play and for typing. I like to have one row of macros, both for typing and for gaming, as well as a dedicated media center preferably with a scrolling volume wheel. Without these features, I will not get the keyboard. I don't care about RGB.

Keyboards which I am currently looking at: Logitech G710+, G Skill KM780, Corsair K series.

Any support is appreciated, please elaborate on your answer. :)

I really kind of do need the macros and the media hub.

Then you're probably gonna wanna get this. It costs an arm and a leg though.

It's pretty much their best keyboard they have. They used to have a non-RGB version a year ago. But that got discontinued. It was like at least 50 bucks cheaper too.

Are you open to the CM Quickfire Rapid I ? It comes in a MX Brown option.

Quite nice keyboard if you ask. Better than the above ones listed.

I would recommend to go with Corsair because I've heard that they make quite durable stuff and "quality" when compared to some other brands.

I don't really have any kind of personal experience on corsair though...

I currently use CM Storm Quickfire TK with brown switches, but a wrist rest would be good.

I also have G710+ which feels also pretty solid when compared to TK.

If you are looking for dedicated media buttons I would recommend G710+ because K70 doesn't have the macros you're looking for which G710+ has. K95 is an exception because has tons of macros/ 18 macros (you won't probably use most of them but if it doesn't bother you I would recommend it)

K70 probably feels more durable because of the aluminum frame ;) .

In a nutshell :

K95:  +RGB, durability, good wrist rest, (rubber coding), dedicated media keys, volume wheel and macros

K70:  + RGB, durability, good wrist rest (rubber coding), dedicated media keys and volume wheel.

- no macros.

Logitech G710+:  + somehow mediocre wrist rest (better than no wrist rest at all :D ), feels pretty solid, dedicated media keys, volume wheel and macros.

- doesn't feel so "quality" keyboard.

Logitech Orion Spark 910:  + solid, decent wrist rest?, good switches?, dedicated media keys, volume wheel and macros

- I don't know what to say because this is up to preferences and I don't know much about this keyboard. I wouldn't honestly recommend this unless you have a place where to test it.

CM Quickfire TK/ Rapid i: + takes little space, TK has num pad, feels durable, suitable price, Rapid i has normal arrow keys.

- no wrist rest at all, Rapid i doesn't have num pad, TK doesn't have "normal" arrow keys, no dedicated media keys, no volume wheel, no macros.

The G710+ is for you then. MX Browns, volume scroll wheel and macros. Not to mention full programmability, color neutral backlighting and a wrist rest just in case you care about that.
