NAS questions

jonasa97

Hello,

I would like to know if it would be possible to have a 3 drive NAS with 2 drives in RAID 0 or 1 and another one as a backup drive. Another question would be if all drives need to be the same product or if they can have different volumes and RPM/cache/controller.

EDIT: to make it clear, the backup drive isn't for backup of the NAS but other files.

Thanks
