so I got a new 850 evo 500gb yesterday and previously had a Ocz agility 3 60gb

I did a fresh install onto the 850 evo

this morning I decided to wipe my ocz agility 3 with the ocz tools

I wanted to wipe it just to have an ssd to install small games

Before wiping my ssd and booting up my computer it would ask which Windows would I like to log on too.

After wiping my ssd, I can't boot onto anything anymore.

"please select a proper boot device."

Can someone please help. Thank you

Welcome to the Forums!

It sounds like the Evo SSD was using the boot files from the OCZ drive, try using the windows insaller to perform a startup repair. Usually it's best to pull any drives out before installing windows to ensure all boot files stay directly on the SSD.

You might need to reinstall windows if it can't repair itself, but before you do so pull out any drives other than the boot SSD when installing.

so I have to install Windows on the same EVO. That means I would have 2 versions on Windows on the same SSD. That would be fine? And if it was how would I delete one of the copies of Windows?

When you install windows in the setup process it will ask you which partition or drive you want to install on, you can format the drive there and basically be left with a blank drive to start with the install windows on.
