Question about pci riser for future custom build

Rorgash
Go to solution Solved by CarterDavison,

all that matter is that it isnt 1st gen tbh.

16x gen 2 or 3 would be preferable.

im not going to be explaining too much about the build right now, hopefully i will remember to document it and post a build log here if it turns out nice.

Anyhow, i will be using a sort of custom case environment and to display my gpu im going to use a flexible pci riser, i looked at a lot of places before finally settling to using ebay, but there are a lot of them with very little information except if its x16 or such, now i saw some actually explaining they are gen 3 which made me want to make this post just to make sure i dont order something that wont work.

Anything important to look for? gen 3?, of course x8 or x16

Better bug the forum than wasting a week or 2 on slow international shipping :P
