Hello, I am looking for help with picking the parts for a build that is $550 USD or less.

It will be used in an office for random task and for use as a file storage computer that is network connected with only one guy accessing it.

Getting new computer because the current one we use for this task is running XP and getting SUPER slow and spitting our crazy error messages during boot.

ALREADY HAVE ALL PERIPHERALS (Monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc.)

ALREADY HAVE HARD DRIVES-just include small ssd for Windows

ALREADY HAVE WINDOWS

CASE CAN BE CHEAP

Please include 8GB or more of ram and intel cpu and nvidia gpu if possible

GPU does NOT need to be great as it will NOT be used for graphics, rendering or gaming.

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!!!

If you want a real graphics card you could nerf the CPU and pick up a 750TI, but it sounds like you just need a gpu for displays or something.

Current Desktop Build | 2200G | RX 580 4GB | 8GB RAM | CTRL | Logitech G Pro Wireless

Laptop | 2018 MBA 256/16GB | MX Master

You don't really need a GPU.  Just stick with the iGPU on the i3.

Hello, I am looking for help with picking the parts for a build that is $550 USD or less.

So you're building a NAS?

Because AM1 is pretty cheap and low power for that, and you don't need a boot drive if you use FreeNAS just a flash drive to boot from, also maybe buy a battey back up for it or uninterruptible power supply
