Confused....so many PSUs....

So my stupid PSU is broken. I can still send it back and get a refund for it, so that's no issue, but now I want something good. I thought Silverstone was good, but the fan is a piece of.......well you get the picture.

It shouldn't exceed the 100€ limit much, something around 600-650W, more is welcome but not necessary, and I really would like some nice looking cables.

I was looking at the Silverstone SST-ST65F-G.....but I can't find the version with the nice cables. Only an older one that has all the colors of the rainbow.

I was also experiencing restarts with the 500W PSU I have now. Weird, since the maximum power draw I tested with my older 650W never exceeded 470W from the wall with furmark and prime95 runnning....so crazy load. I guess 500W is NOT enough for my system then.

So any nice suggestions? I live in Germany and , again, price range around 100€. Less is nice, if you have a suggestion in the close vicinity to 100€ that is really worth paying the few extra bucks, feel free to recommend anyways. I really want something that will last.

A BeQuiet with nice cables would be great.......

500w is enough there is a problem in the system elsewhere

OK i should habe elaborated...the fan is also f***ed in the PSU. So it is still broken. Not saying you are wrong, but the PSU is still going back.

The restarts where only twice, maybe three times in about a month, so nothing too bad.

Which one though? There are so many and so many are supposed to be crap, so many are super expensive....isn't there a middle-ground? Super hard to find something since I usually don't care too mcuh for PSUs, meaning I always had BeQuiet and that was great.

The list is alright. I ordered a Silverstone 550w platinum psu now, atx though. The really short kind.

Thanks for your help though.

Right now I do, I want to get something smaller in the near future. Then it will come in handy.

Thanks for the hint. ;-)

I was thinking about an Elite 110 with dust filters (demciflex) and then one of the coming AMD Polaris GPUs for good temps. But I will wait and see what those supposedly cool GPUs really bring to the table.

I thought better a small PSU in a fairly big case now and have the flexibility I need for downsizing.
