Cherry MX Brown

I own a corsair K70 with Cherry Reds and A Razer Blackwidow Chroma with Razer Greens . - I've also tried a K70 With cherry blues  - but have never tried MX Browns until this past Saturday.

I went into a computer store and they had an open Logitech G710+ which I know has Cherry MX Browns .

what a total letdown and disappointment for me .

I've always wondered why the browns are so popular - and now I'm totally confused - they really are not what I expected and I don't like them at all - they remind me of lukewarm coffee - neither hot not cold - its a grey area feeling - 

The tactile bump isn't strong enough - unlike blues where u can clearly feel the bump - browns feel like reds with a slight glitch - not at all satisfying for my taste.

I was always considering getting a MX Brown keyboard to mess around with and now I'm so glad i didn't buy one online cause now I would be sitting with something I'll never use

I am totally clear now on what I like 

MX blues are my first choice - Totally satisfying and for MMO games Blues are great - best feeling switch for me overall

Second are Reds - they are really nice and smooth - second only to blues.

 

I've heard many ppl say Browns feel like blues but without the audible click - to me this isn't quite true

The tactile bump is enhanced by the clicking mechanism inside the switch enhancing the tactile feeling - so to me the tactile feeling of browns isn't even half as strong as blues.

each to his own - give me Blues any day - Browns are an in-between switch - smooth with a very slight bump -
