CPU Error

Hey there, I recently built a new computer in October and just suddenly started having a problem.

My specs are,

Asus Maximus Hero VIII

Intel Core I7 6700k

Corsair H110i GTX

16 GB DDR4 Corsair Dominator Platinum

2 Nvidia GTX 660's

Corsair AX 760 PSU

2 Corsair Neutron XT 480 GB SSD

Up until last night everything was working flawlessly. After getting home from work I notice a BSOD with a error message saying:

PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

After a quick Google search it seemed to be something related to a hardware issue most likely the ram. After a few attempts rebooting the computer all I would get is the BIOS and the same error; however, now all I seem to get is a blank screen as my BIOS isn't even posting.

My motherboard is giving me an error code "00" and the CPU led is indicating there is a problem with the CPU.

So far, outside of reseating the ram, I haven't really tried much. If I have to get myself a new CPU or whatever, I'm okay with that, but before I do... I'm just looking for suggestions. I've never had a problem like this with any of the systems I've built and I'm not really sure what's the best approach.

Try each of your sticks of RAM one at a time. That BSOD is usually an improperly seated/dead/excessively overclocked RAM stick.

 

Also, just incase you accidentally knocked them out while fiddling with RAM, make sure the motherboard and CPU power cables are plugged in tight.

Hm, I just tried that again, I'm not able to get to the BIOS still. And the error code on the Mobo remains the same.

The power cables are all good as far as I can see.
