New Backup Client for 100+ Users

laotto

Hi, first post on the forum, ever, so let’s get going…

A short while ago I got a task from my employee to find a new backup client for our office workers. The number of PC’s/Mac’s that are backed up to this date is roughly around 100 (likely to expand as time goes on).

I am tasked with finding a couple (3-4) different clients from different suppliers. But this is something I’m going to need help accomplishing.

The following list consists of the information that I am supposed to gather:
-    What kind of service do they provide
-    General information about the client and its functionalities
-    Price (per client/month/gigabyte etc.)
-    Evaluation av Supplier

Our current solution consists of renting disk space and licenses from a local supplier. We therefore wish to find something with a bit more «service».

So if anyone out there as any suggestions or inputs regarding this, now is the time for you to shine!

If you have any questions don’t be afraid to ask. I'm grateful for all feedback and help!

I use crashplan here at the studio to backup a 24tb nas. You should check out there business backup tools.
