Hello,

 

i am planning to build my first gaming PC but im not entirely sure if there are flaws or improvements to be made.

Please let me know if you have better ideas for the memory, storage or GPU.

I would slightly downgrade the cpu. You wont need that high of a cpu for gaming. A skylake i5 would be plenty. You could get a 390x for the money u save there. 
 

U planning on overclocking, since u chose the k-version? The Hyper212 wont be enough for that i think.

RAM is overkill. Same goes for the CPU since you're only gaming.

As a few other people said don't bother with the i7 6700k, the only added benefit it comes with is hyperthreading and to be honest that doesn't make a whole lot of difference in most games, instead either just save a bit of money on it or use the difference in price to get another component a little better. I recently upgraded from an old AMD Phenom II x6 1090T to the i5 6600K and I Must say the difference is huge my PC is much more snappy and a noticeable FPS boost while gaming.
