how will the quality be.

Go to solution Solved by ALwin,

HDMI should be OK up to 10 meters.  While I would say that the cable should not matter, some very cheap poorly made cables will affect the signal being sent through the wire.

Since you've already purchased the cable, why not connect it and test the setup?

Hello guys,

So last time i bought a 7mtr HDMI cable with a name not familiar to me from a discount store, butt will the picture quality still be good?

i've read that if it's less then 5 mtrs then every HDMI cable will do the job. but how about 7mtrs because i want to hook my DVD-player to a projector.

ok guys, thanks for all the answers!!!

i didn't know HDMI is OK for 10 mtrs, u really saving my bacon i will test it and if i doesn't work i bring it back to the store "'cause it's defective"

HDMI is OK up to a maximum length of 15m or 50ft.  Beyond that is another story.
