its a very interesting design that me and my friend came up with. thoughts?

p.s its already been upgraded to a 270 and 6 gb ram

Ditch the green PCB's

 

Get some LED's

 

Make a power button to fit into the big hole where the one on the CRT would have been

 

and then you have a pretty dope custom case

we are upgrading the mobo some time soon and there is no more green ram and the 270 has a black pcb

ok then the inside is great.

 

for the outside, you should sand that baby smooth and apply a primer and some paint of your choice color.

we will be doing some templates on the outside when we work out what we are doing

Well it looks nice but it doesn't look structurally stable. I wouldn't ever want to build something like that.

Also why exactly are you even doing this? It doesn't really make sense. It's kinda impractical and it seems like you are really cheaping out on the entire build

it was stuff we had lying around so we didnt lose anything by doing it and it will be getting a major upgrade soon, and if you look up custom cases there are other cases that are much more impractical

2. Go to bigger lan party, plop huge CRT on desk...
3. Hear some laughter nearby

4. Chuckle a bit as you push the power button

5. Play Crysis on ULTRA.

6. Hear jaws drop around you...

8. Profit!

that was the original plan but it would be like a square  18" monitor
