Chrome problems

GIR385

I'm trying to use a device that hooks in through a mic port on chrome. I got it to work in Microsoft Edge, but when I plug it into chrome, I don't get any drop down asking for permission. And when I try to use it, it doesn't work, meaning it's likely being denied permission. How can I fix this?

chrome://settings/content

I've checked there. I've tried the mic settings several times. Any other ideas?

Could try uninstalling chrome and reinstalling it, or updating it, running it in admin mode, run in compatibility mode.

I figured out it's tied to my google account. I think something might have happened, and maybe someone denied the site I want to use access to the mic on my account (As I used to share a computer) Is there any way to change this?
