GPU temps on bad airflow case

yes you can create a custom fan curve in afterburner

 

once in afterburner you go to settings at the bottom, click the fan tab, enable user defined fan control, and make your curve, click ok and your done...

 

or you can adjust the speed at the bottom but that will lock it at that speed even in games

 

heres what my fan curve looks like on my 980ti so yours will be different and is just an example

you should get a better GPU....well you can use MSI afterburner i never was for silence i allways turned up my fans on max because im mostl ywearing headphones that mkaes a lots of noise itself so i was ok but you can also in MSI afterbuner can make your own fan sistem like the RP that will be set by you how its gona spin in what temps

Yeas its good idea i actually didnt do that because i like it to stay cool and i ramp it up to 100% i mean WHY NOT??? i have big headset that makes a  lot more noise when im not wearing them compared to the fan itself..... but you can make your own fan profile if you want there

I'v got an asus r7 370 that gets 5-6 degrees more on full load than should be due bad air flow. should i use MSI after burner to make fans go faster?  74-75 degrees  gets, with MSI is 61-63.

normal fan speed is 15% with MSI is 60%

 

What case do you have? It might be possible to improve the airflow in your case which can have a large impact on GPU temps.

75*C isn't horrible but you can just set fan speed to say 35% (should be quiet) and go with that

15% fan speed 74 degrees on full load

70% fan speed with MSI after burner 59 degrees on full load

Those temps are low. You're fine up to 90c at load.

85*C* - he's using a GCN 1.0 based GPU IIRC and those go up to 85*C safely only

That's for GCN 1.1. GCN 1.0 was advertised as good till 85*C safely

I don't remember 85c being advertised for their rebranded cards though.

Same core architecture so one would assume, them being cheaper, the silicon used wasn't higher grade.

OP, try with about 35% like someone mentioned. Of course you can turn the fan speed up, but that obviously makes more noise, as you probably noticed. 35% seem to be a good balance. To be honest, 75C isn't too hot at all, you can still manage it no problem and that way, the card can stay quiet.

Temps aren't that bad. Just set a custom fan curve in MSI AB and turn it up a bit.
