PROBLEMS Booting

Hi, I have A Dell XPS M1530 And I Have A Problem. Ok So Ill List The Events; I Press The Power Button, The light on the Button Stays On For About 3 Sec. The Turns Off, Fan Starts Then Stops And Hraddrive Starts And Keeps Going Trying to Read Something, Power light On Front Turns On And Stays On, But I don't see any thing on the display

Does anything show up on the screen at all, like when the system posts?

No

Sounds like the issue is either the GPU or the screen.

 

First I would try plugging up an external monitor. if you get signs of life from the external monitor, either a connection to the built in screen is disconnected/bad or the screen is dead.

If you don't get any type of response from the external monitor, then it's likely there is a problem with the GPU which would be better as it's easier to replace.

 

It is also possible that something else is causing the issue.  Do you get any sound that would indicate that operating system is actually running?

I FIXED IT

 

It Was The GPU I Had To Re-solder It
