Hi. So I recently upgraded my PC but kept my peripherals.

I got a steelseries sensei mouse which isn't exactly the cheapest mouse and I really want to keep it but there's a problem. My new motherboard doesn't charge through USB ports when the PC is turned off. I can't connect any of my USB ports to the red USB pins because the only USB ports on my case are connected by the wide USB 3.0 connector not these typical USB pins.

I've struggled with that for ages but I just can't figure it out.

My motherboard is MSI z97a.

Any ideas how to fix this? Right now I just put my computer to sleep instead of turning it off but I don't know if it's good for it to keep it on all the time.
