Solid state drive/HDD questions

Hey there MusicMayne,

Gaming generally doesn't rely on the storage's performance for anything else but the loading times so the only thing you would get from the SSD are faster loading times and autosaves. FPS and graphics are not affected by this.
A good 7,200 rpm drive would give you enough performance for gaming so if you need teh 1TB I would consider something like WD Blue or WD Black:
If 500GB are enough for your needs then by all means the SSD would be a good choice. :)

Feel free to ask if you happen to have questions :)

Captain_WD.

Currently have a 512gb Samsung pro and was debating on getting either another 500 gig ssd or 1 tb hdd.

What's the best HDD speed wise that is out now?

Spend alittle more and get the Mushkin 1tb SSD?

This will be mainly for gaming.

If you store a lot of games then you should consider buying a 7200RPM HDD. If you don't have a lot of games to store then you could get another 500GB SSD.
