Got all of my computer parts finally!

So I finally got my build in that I've been waiting to do for years! Had my friend and I put it all together, press the power button and........ Nothing! WOOHOOOO. We're pretty sure my SeaSonic S12G power supply came in DOA. -----------.........-----------

disconnect everything from your PSU and try shorting the green and black wires with a paperclip to see if there's any life.

Do you have any LED's on the MOBO that are lighting up? If so your MOBO is definitely receiving power and it is something else.

We tried the paperclip test on two different power supplies and it didn't work for some reason. We had it put into the right wires. But with his powersupply the computer turned on so... Not quite sure.

RMA and just wait for a new one to turn up.

This is a somewhat common mistake.
