I have a LG Leon Android phone its quite new only a couple of weeks. Now when I try to download an app or game it says I have insufficient memory even though in file manager it says I have over 300 mb of free space and the app is only 30 please help.

Get a micro SD card? Reset the phone to factory settings..?

When I delete another app I have installed it then lets me download

I have an SD Card but it dosent help as for factory resrt I dont really want to delete everything as it takes quite a while to set up accounts and all that.

I believe there's some reserved space on storage that's used for the system. Recommend you get a larger SD card or clean it up a bit.

I had the same problem with my oppo find 7. It seemed like I had some storage for apps and then some storage for other things. Stupid as fuck.

when the storage gets low android wont let you download any apps.so low for you is ~300MB. its normal

no. first install on phone then you have the option to move the app on the sd card. however only a portion of it moves. with ~3-4gb of total usable storage its useless even with an sd card

That must be it because I have had similar problem with another phone that has small built in storage. Thanks for the help.

Move all your Videos and pictures to the SD Card. Or Remove them and put them on a USB or an external hard drive.
