I have a Razer Black Widow Ultimate Stealth and Death Adder 2013.

I have this in less than a year or maybe less than half a year.

Before I got Razer Black Widow, I purchased Asus Strix. I needed a keyboard with good macro software that time and Strix's software sucks so I returned it and added a few $$ for the Black Widow.

As I came home BlackWidow seems good but the Audio ports on its side is not working. I didnt bother returning it since I am not using and the people on that store are not friendly if you're returning an item.

Now my Blackwidow starts double clicking few buttons but it rarely does. Anyway if it does I just delete them. I didnt bother trying to return it because of same reason before plus I dont know how to prove it on the store because it doesnt happen everytime.

But now same thing is happening on my Death Adder. This time I bought it on a different store so maybe they're cool with customers claiming warranty. But I have same question in mind. How can I prove to them that my mouse is double clicking when it doesnt happen all the time? Thanks!

Yes I do have. Both of them are working fine "before" and after a while started acting up. The mouse just started like yesterday or the day before that.

So it may be synapse's fault? Should I exit synapse then?

Sometimes on my PC, USB 3.0 just doesnt work, so if you're plugged into a USB 3.0 port maybe try USB 2.0

The keyboard has 2 USB ports 1 for the Side USB extension and 1 for the keyboard so I plugged them to 3.0

But my mouse is at USB 2.0.

id try it at least

I tried it, but it seems not to work. Though i'll test it further.

I hope I can get more suggestions from other user. I want to claim its warranty as soon as possible but I just dont know how to prove it to the store that something's not right.

Just see if the keyboard works on USB 2.0. My Corsair K65 wont work on USB 3.0, so just maybe it works if its plugged into USB 2.0.

As for the mouse, I have no idea.

Razer has been fairly notorious with having stuff die quickly but the upside is they usually replace things fairly quickly. They shouldn't ask you to "prove" anything. If you take it back and say it is double clicking randomly then they should just accept it. It isn't like the store has to pay for it, they just tell Razer it was under warranty and it failed.

Personally I would stop buying razer products after all those failures but if you like them then just keep replacing them, you'll probably get decent ones eventually.

Their products are way overpriced, especially for the frequency at which you have to replace them. They just had a 1 day 50% discount on peripherals, with that big of a discount it seems to me the proper valuation for their gear. I made off with a 2016 BW Ultimate that day for $55 + tax. Puts it at lower than a lot of cheap keyboards with kailh switches.

The double clicking problem occurs on both their old keyboards with Cherry MX switches and their new ones with their own branded switches, which leads me to believe that their denouncing algorithm is too tight. These switches get extra chatter as they get older. Since some ppl's problems go away with fixing Synapse, I'm guessing they do a software denounce. More expensive boards would actually do that on the board, but then you gotta pay for more hardware/design.

Yea, I'm not too fond of razer myself but op likes razer and gaming is all about preferences.
