So I have a large array of DVD movies and I watch them on the TV or on my desktop PC but I have a laptop that does not have a disc drive so I was wondering if there was any way I could back up my DVDs to a NAS so I could watch them in bed on my laptop or so that I could save them to my laptop to view on flights and the like

It's a complicated process that involves using a program that might or might not be legal depending on your country and using Handbrake.
