Power Cable?

This is the power cable for my laptop, but the current cable doesn't work. I was wondering if anybody knew what this cable was so I could find a replacement.

 

NOTE: sorry for the bad quality in the photos (iphone camera...); the holes on the plug are supposed to be circular but are worn down (just in case you couldn't see in the photo); the plug is completely circular except for a crimp/ indent on the top.

The connector I believe is a 4 pin DIN

find a reputable laptop parts dealer and get a new charger, if the cable does not work there is a small chance there may be something wrong with the power adapter. it really isn't worth the risk over what will most likely be a less than $50 part
