I am looking for a budget gaming pc and have picked two machines but cannot pick which one to buy G3258 GTX750TI or I3 4170 GT730 The mobo and ram are the same H81M with 4GB RAM and the Pentium pc dosent have an optical drive.

Depends on the games you'll be playing but I'd get the G3258 750 ti simply because of better GPU

You get peripherals with the pc but they are cheap and I have some a good keyboard and mouse laying around for the monitor I have picked an 80 Euros one both pcs cost 349 Euros and in total about 420

Idk looks ok and I was looking to build a similar system but it would end up costing more

GTA V cannot run on a dual core CPU, nor on that GPU either

I'd just build a system from scratch, which would be better than any of those systems. In your pricepoint you should be able to get both the i3 and the GTX 750ti (or R7 260X, which performs the same). Just look for parts, check different websites and stores.

For gaming the GPU is more important, so the GTX 750 is not a good choice. However many games today need the 4 threads, some of them won't even launch if you are using a two-threads CPU; which puts the i3 on a better position.
