Yes, just remember you have to run the disk cleanup tool to remove it completely. Just don't plan on reverting back to any old version of Windows after you delete it though.

Stupidly i bought a 128gb ssd and i need space. Can i delete windows.old

You can but you will no longer be able to revert back to ur old Windows if that matters... It will remove itself after 30 days

If you don't have anything important in it, yes. You can use "Unlocker" to delete some files which you may not be able to delete.
