Computer won't boot. I'm getting desperate.

My computer will no longer boot past the "Starting Windows" screen. I'll start from the beginning, since this has been quite the journey for me. Last night I click on a game to play on Steam, but when I do, Steam decides to freeze up on me. After using CTRL+ALT+DEL to manually shut down Steam and do a restart of the program, (which I did several times, none of which fixed the issue) I tried everything I could possibly think of to possibly get it working. I ran a Malwarebytes scan, a Windows Defender scan, cleaned up my drives and the registry in CCleaner, and restarted my computer. No luck. So then I decided to try redownloading the Steam installer and reinstalling the program. It seemed to have worked, so I clicked on the new Steam shortcut on my desktop and the usual "updating Steam" window appeared. However, it then switched to "installing updates" or something like that, and stayed that way for ten or so minutes. Getting frustrated, I clicked cancel and decide to try turning off my computer entirely and then back on.

And that's how I ended up here. Every time I boot, the computer goes to the "Starting Windows" screen and stays there. The animation is even able to finish, which normally doesn't happen thanks to my SSD. Since then I have attempted to boot in Safe Mode (didn't load) and using "last known good configuration", and trying the "repair windows" option. Nothing works. I decided to see if my spare Win 10 drive would boot. Nope, after I go through the initial menu and click install it just stays on that screen. Please, I need help.

I am sorry dude. Go into safe mode, or boot it from live cd of a linux distro, and just back everything up.

You may have a bad copy of windows, you should reinstall windows, and then beg microsoft for another product key. Other than that, don't know what else for you to do.

Dear god this helps you.

I thought I had some money... Oh wait... I spent it all ;(

I did this and my Win 10 thumb drive loaded properly this time. Does this mean one of my drives is failing?

Yep. Windows install often won't start when there's a bad drive.
