Fluctuating storage space HELP PLEASE

When i went on my computer this morning I had about 20gbs left on my SSD, and when I tried to install a payday 2 update recently I only had 100mbs left. I restarted my computer and looked again to find I now have around only 1gb left. I have no clue what is going on, if someone has an idea of what can be done (if anything) that would be appreciated. Thanks!

I have but I need GTA V at least on my ssd because it likes speedy drives. But really? That's normal? wow. But it's at 0. It's never been at 0 before. How do I move steam games over? I don't want to lose my payday 2 progress. Sorry for so many questions still kinda mauiotrndig ya know? Also thank you.

I agree with @Arty. Storage fluctuation on your C: drive is normal because windows is constantly caching things in and out of the pagefile. This is normal for storage to move ~10GB.

You don't notice because you had more space, 

but now that you trying to install payday it use the rest of your space and fluctuations seem greater

also..you can disable hibernation in windows and get rid of the hiberation file

and you can customize the swap file to be smaller

I've had payday 2 installed since I got my computer but today its been fluctuating a lot. Thanks again! Now it's at 2gbs
