Hello to everyone, since this is my first post.

Back in September I made myself a new gaming pc. Now I have this little weird problem I can't seem to solve. When I press the power button sometimes my gpu isn't starting. I can allways tell when he's not booting since the GPU-LED isn't lighting up. When doing a reset after that the system boots fine. It's a problem that comes and goes. For example: I never had this until about a month ago. Now I have it once or twice a week. This happens at random, like today I had it and the rest of the week it worked fine.

What I allready tried is updating the bios. Worked fine for like a week but it's back now.

Specs:

Asus z170-a

16 GB Kingston HyperX fury

Intel i5 6600K

Nvidia Gtx 670

Corsair rm750W

Sorry for the late reply but now i had some time to work on my computer.

I made some video's where you can see when it's working and when it's not. Now i tried putting my videocard in the second slot but my problem wasn't fixed.

This is when my first Pci slot is working fine. You can see the Led lighting up.

This is when my first Pci slot is NOT working.

I don't think it's my cables either cause my fans of my videocard are spinning, as you can see on one of my video's.

I think I have to ask for a replacement. What do you guys think?

If you can easily RMA it, go ahead. If it wasn't the card after all, no harm done. The fans spinning does mean it gets power, but you never know, electronics often behave in unexpected ways. Trying other cables is an easy thing to test, which is why I recommended trying it.

Worst case scenario, this ends up being a motherboard issue, and you'll need to RMA that, though you might want to contact ASUS or the retailer before you take the entire system apart.

Yes, my system is only 4-5 months old so I can easily get an RMA. I just contacted my retailer and i'll see what they have to say.
