I have a fractal define r4.

the case has 2x 140 fans for top exhausts, so i'm assuming a h110 will fit?

I've also heard somewhere that the h100i will require some offsetting to fit?

I have a maximus 6 hero, and I want the fans in pull mode exhausting air off the top.

Thanks!

I agree with @CoolBeans,rather than risking the H110 not fitting just go for the H100i and some Noctua/Be quiet/Silverstone/Noiseblocker fans.

and if you can find the H220 go for that instead.

I am more worried about the h100i not fitting instead of the h110, since the top mounts on the r4 are for 2x 140 fans

Taken from the newegg page for the Fractal Define R4

SUPPORT FOR LIQUID COOLING

You no longer have to make the choice between liquid cooling and silence, the R4 offers both. Top fan positions now allow slim 240 / 280mm radiators to be mounted. Select slim radiators can be mounted in the front fan holder (requires the bottom HDD cage to change position)

Because of this, a Kraken x60 might be good to mount in the front.

It's quieter than both the H110 and the H100i.
