MUSIC GONE..........HELP!!!!!!

I upgraded to the most recent itunes (11.0.5)a few days ago and today i wanted to put some music into my itouch.  When i opened my itunes all my music and playlist were gone!!!! I already tried searching up how to fix it, but i can't find a solution.  I can't find any itunes backups on my desktop to replace the current itunes library.  I gave up and decided to recreate and replace the missing music and playlist.  So i went to open my music folder where all the music is and..... ALL THE MUSIC WAS GONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i really don't have a clue where the music is...  i searched my computer for the music and can't find it and also tried a restoration tool to see if it was in the recycle bin. Nope not there.  Any idea where my music went?  This is on windows 7 btw.

Not sure how iTunes works (I've never used it), but can't you just redownload your music from it? Sort of like steam? That's assuming you bought the music on iTunes, if you didn't I don't think iTunes is the problem.

I dont know of a solition but when you get it fixed I suggest you back up your music with Google Play.

Its the Google Cloud storage where you can access your music off any Android device and up to 5 computers. Really convenient and fairly simple to backup

I guess you just have to start over again? It's a really buggy program, i never used that program to transfer music to my iPod..

iTunes probably have a music folder that deleted when you installed the update, there isn't really that much you can do than start over again :/

I had my library vanish after updating to 11.0 and i never knew what caused it, and ended up just recreating it again (although i only had custom made ringtones in the library so the music files were still on my hdd)

i personally use ifunbox to copy over music and videos to my iphone, found it easier then trying to get it to copy over itunes
